The art festival for foreigners wrapped up at Trung Vuong Theatre, Da Nang city, on December 9, after two days of competition.

In the individual category, one A-prize worth VND 5million went to Chinese contestants Liu Ruili and Zhang Yuying, meanwhile in the team category, one A-prize worth VND 10 million was presented to Ba Na Service Cable Car joint Stock Company.

In addition, the organising board also awarded two B-prizes; four C-prizes; and two consolation prizes.

The festival was held in Da Nang from December 8 to 9, with the participation of hundreds of specialist and amateur artists, who are foreigners working and living in Da Nang, Hue and Hoi An.

22 performances featuring Vietnamese and foreign folk songs, traditional musical instruments and dances were featured at the festival.

The event aims to promote the culture and arts of countries that have relationships with Da Nang city, and create better conditions for its residents to have a deeper understanding about world cultures.
