(HBO) - In Hoa Binh City, Hoa Binh Union of Literature and Arts and that of Lao Cai have collaborated to organize the opening ceremony of the exhibition of art photographic works by photographic artists from 2 provinces of Hoa Binh and Lao Cai.
The representatives from the Union of Literature and Arts of Hoa Binh and Lao Cai provinces are visiting the exhibition.
More than 100 typical photographic works, which are beautiful frames describing the landscapes, the daily life, and the culture of ethnic minorities in Lao Cai and Hoa Binh, have been introduced at the exhibition. These are the images of the fascinating nature on Fansiphan's peak (the roof of Indochina), the terraced fields with different layers, the peaceful villages, the gracious smiles of girls, the clear eyes of of children, the joy of bumper crop of corn and rice, the excitement of folk games deeply imbued with ethnic identities ...
This is an occasion for the photographers in the two provinces of Hoa Binh and Lao Cai to discuss and exchange professional skills to improve the quality of creative works, promoting the images of the homeland and people of each province. The works have been exhibited for a long time at the Bep Muong Restaurant - on Da Giang Street (Hoa Binh City) to promote to the people and tourists. After the opening ceremony, the photographers from Lao Cai and Hoa Binh provinces made a field trip to compose photos in some areas of Hoa Binh province. Thereby, the photographic works will be selected to be displayed at the upcoming week of Culture and Tourism in Hoa Binh Province in 2019.
As part of Project 6 under the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2024, Lạc Sơn District, Hoa Binh province focuses on diverse and practical activities to promote the project's goal: "Preserving and promoting the beautiful traditional cultural values of ethnic groups in conjunction with tourism development."
After 3 years of implementing Resolution No. 04-NQ/TU, dated October 11, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of Hoa Binh province's ethnic groups in the period of 2021 – 2025 with the orientation to 2030 (NQ04), it has mobilized the participation of the entire political system, the people from all walks of life and there have been positive changes. So far, out of the 10 targets of NQ04, 3 targets have been met and exceeded the plan set for 2025. Typically, 70% of the intangible cultural heritage (ICH) of ethnic groups in the province is on the list of the national ICH items and they have been protected and restored, exceeding 20% of the proposed Resolution.
Great National Unity Day has been recently celebrated in Duong hamlet, Vay Nua commune, Da Bac district, in an atmosphere of warmth and community spirit. The event highlighted national identity and strengthened the bond of solidarity among residents.
