In early December, the Hoa Binh Party Committee's Mass Mobilisation Commission successfully organised a competition of smart mass mobilisation in building new-style rural areas, leaving a profound impression and achieving high efficiency.

A performance highly praised at the competition.

A total of 238 communicators from 13 participating teams brought about an atmosphere of enthusiasm and confidence through their captivating performances. The teams went through the three rounds, with the last round featuring stage plays.

These plays were prepared by the teams based on real-life situations that happened in the locality requiring those involved in grassroots-level mass mobilisation works to solve smartly in a harmonious and reasonable manner to achieve their goals. The audiences were impressed by many performances where the communicators managed to mobilise people to donate land for road construction, participate in environmental sanitation, and prevent social evils, drugs, among other situations. Through the plays, the team also reflected negative behaviours in society such as excessive drinking and overreliance on support from the state and the community.

Nguyen Thi Sang from the Hoa Binh City team said her team has trained hard for the event and coordinated smoothly in each round. "Following the competition, we will continue to strive for effective communications and mobilisation targeting the people serving the implementation of the Party's guidelines and State’s policies and laws, especially concerning the building of new-style rural and civilised urban areas.”

Bui Tien Luc, head of the Hoa Binh Party Committee's Mass Mobilisation Commission and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, held that the competition is an important political activity, displaying exemplary models and practices of smart mass mobilisation in building new-style rural areas. It creates opportunities for localities to exchange and learn from experiences and contributes to disseminating the Party's guidelines and State’s policies and laws to officials and people.

The smart mass mobilisation movement was launched in Hoa Binh in 2009. To date, the province has more than 4,200 related exemplary models. Particularly, this movement has been comprehensively implemented in the field of new-style rural building, earning positive results.
