Hoa Binh Lake was approved by the Prime Minister as the National Tourism Site in August, 2016. In April, 2016, Hoa Binh Tourism Investment joint Stock Company implemented the projects of Robinson Natural tourism site, Sung island, Tien Phong commune (Da Bac) and The preservation Area of Muong ethnic culture, developed high quality ecotourism of Ngoi Hamlet – Ngoi Hoa Bay. These are two key tourism areas, the center core in the planning of Hoa Binh Lake National Tourism Area. This is the first class agency of Hoa Binh Tourist in implementing trading policies and mass media to lauch the tourism products of Hoa Binh Lake for domestic and foreign tourists. On the opening day of the spiritual tour and experience boating of Hoa Binh Lake, nearly 300 tourists visited and experienced. In the tour, the tourists travelled by yatch from Thung Nai Port to Thac Bo Temple for visiting and offering. Then the tourists went sightseeing in Ngoi Hamlet – a tourist destination of Muong ethnic community culture, visited the local market, watched local people performing their crafts, exchanging the art performance and enjoyed the trational ethnic special food.
On this occasion, Hoa Binh Tourism Investment joint Stock Company announced the tour route system in 2018, including: From January to April 15: "Spiritual Travel - experience Boating of Hoa Binh Lake". From 30 / 4-30 / 8: "Exciting summer with floating water park of Hoa Binh Lake". From 2 / 9-30 / 12: "Back to the origin" program.

The Department of Cultural Heritage has just coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh province to organize a training on implementing the model of the cultural heritage connected in the cultural tourism journey in Cao Phong and Lac Son districts.
The Sung village in Cao Son commune, Da Bac district, is endowed with pristine natural landscape, and Dao Tien ethnic minority community in the village preserves rich cultural heritage, including traditional housing, clothing, language, scripts, customs, and daily life practices.
