Accordingly, WorldTrans will operate 28 chartered flights during the summer, from June to August, using the 180-seat Airbus 320 aircraft from VietJet Air. 5,000 tickets for the 28 flights on the route have been sold so far.

The flight from Can Tho city departs at 9:05am and the return flight from Bangkok at 7am, with the flight duration of 1 hour 25 minutes.

According to the Can Tho city authorities, the launch of the direct air route helps to open up new opportunities to promote tourism in Can Tho city and the Mekong delta localities in general to Thailand, one of the highest potential markets in the Southeast Asia.
