HBO - There are 2 ways to reach Chua Thac Bo temple which is derived from Bich Ha port, Thai Thinh commune (Hoa Binh city) and Thung Nai port, Binh Thanh commune (Cao Phong). We depart from Bich Ha port. This year, the port area is cleaner and more regulated. Functional forces to directly regulate, divide and arrange ships and boats. Passenger ship services are more and more professional.

The bustling cruise ship docked to bring tourists to visit Chua Thac Bo temple, Thung Nai commune (Cao Phong) and enjoy the charming scenery of Hoa Binh lake.

The Hoa Nguyen ship with more than 100 horsepower takes us out of the harbor, surfing on the lake. In spring, the lake water is jade green, the spring rain is sprinkling on the rippled lake’s surface. Low water levels reveal rocky outcrops, small islands with fancy shapes, scenery like Ha Long Bay in the mountains. On the two sides of the lake are protection forests and villages of people from Muong and Dao groups vaguely in the dusty rain.

After more than an hour of surfing, the ship docked. The flow of people from dozens of other ships is bustling to the Chua Thac Bo temple in Vay Nua commune (Da Bac) and Thung Nai commune (Cao Phong).

Passenger ships often dock at Chua Thac Bo temple on the right bank of Da river in Thung Nai commune firstly. The temple is located on the side of Sam Runghill, the tourists can be leaned against the mountain, overlooking the lake. The temple is currently being renovated and upgraded. After that, the tourists continue to travel by ship about 15 minutes, the tourists come to Chua Thac Bo temple on the left bank of Vay Nua commune. The temple is located at the top of Hang Than hill, to go up to the temple, the tourists move on a small path of about 100 steps. The temple consists of 3 pavilions, dome type arch roof, and a "Dinh word”-shaped space structure.

After enjoying the scenery and worship, the tourists can not ignore the specialties of the lake and local products such as fish, grilled river shrimp, bitter bamboo, forest vegetables, etc. Together with charming mountains and rivers, this place becomes Ecotourism - cultural - spiritual tourist attractions attracting the tourists near and far, especially when Hoa Binh lake is approved by the Prime Minister as a national tourist destination. In recent years, the tourists travel to Hoa Binh Lake, visit Chua Thac Bo Temple all year round, especially after Lunar New Year.
