CNN announced the list on April 22 in celebration of Earth Day.

According to the news agency, its enduring popularity has made Ha Long Bay one of the hottest natural attractions in Southeast Asia.

Ha Long Bay, which is home to 1,969 islets of hulking limestone and deep, green waters, was recognised twice by the UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage. It has been named one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

Sail on a junk boat or pick up a kayak and get lost in the quieter reaches of this vast and fascinating corner of the South China Sea/East Sea, the US news described.

In addition to Ha Long Bay, the other most beautiful places were located in various countries and territories around the world, including Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Uganda), Samburu (Kenya), Mount Toubkal (Morocco), El Nido (the Philippines), Rotorua (New Zealand), Kata Tjuta (Australia), and the Maldives.
