(HBO) – The People’s Committee of Hoa Binh has
issued Decision 1520/QD-UBND recognising Mai Chau district in the northern
province as a local tourist site.
The Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee assigned the Mai Chau
People’s Committee to preserve and develop the tourism resources, ensure
environmental protection, security and safety for visitors, as well as
encourage the community to involve in tourism activities.
The provincial People’s Committee also assigned
departments of culture, sports and tourism, planning and investment,
transportation, construction, natural resources and environment, and public
security, along with organisations and individuals to implement the management
and development of the Mai Chau tourist site as regulated by the State.
Endowed with majestic natural landscape, cool
climate and unique culture, Mai Chau is an attractive destination for visitors.
The recognition of the site is expected to pave the way for luring investors
and mobilising social resources to build high-quality products to promote
tourism./.
