(HBO) – Hoa Binh Tourist JSC is focusing investments on developing tourism products featuring the Muong ethnic minority group and the ecological system around Hoa Binh Lake.

General Director of Hoa Binh Tourist JSC Nguyen Thi Thuy Phuong said years of research show that Hoa Binh has many favourable conditions for tourism development. However, local tourist sites have experienced not many changes, with unstable, unimproved service quality, leading to a decrease in the number of holidaymakers, especially foreigners. Meanwhile, foreign tourists are ready to pay more for good quality services. To raise the image of Hoa Binh tourism, State management agencies, businesses and travel companies should work together to analyse the reality and take suitable steps in order to develop and renew the local tourism sector by high-end products and services, targeting different segments of customers.

Domestic visitors are divided into two groups, including one from the North and the other from the South. Northern visitors require high-quality and luxurious services. Meanwhile, those from the South often go on long trips to explore attractive landscapes and culture. They also have demands for convenient and good-quality services.

Foreign tourists like experiencing and exploring the nature and culture of local people. Therefore, tourism products must satisfy demands of different visitors to gain high efficiency.

For many years, Hoa Binh Tourist JSC has invested in tourism product development and service quality improvement to best meet demands of customers, especially high-income earners and foreigners. Apart from investing in material facilities, the company has built community-based tourism villages in Ngoi hamlet with various activities allowing visitors to explore landscapes and culture of local ethnic minorities. The company has also launched the Ngoi Hoa-Ba Khan tour and other high-end tourism projects on Sung Island (Tien Phong). At the same time, the company has cooperated with partners to promote cultural potential of the Muong ethnic minority group in Hoa Binh to friends and tourists.

Companies offering community-based responsible tourism services have cooperated with each other to introduce good-quality products to different groups of customers, especially domestic high-income earners and foreigners. Ngoi hamlet has welcomed many domestic and foreign vacationers who come to experience local culture and tourism products.

The number of customers of Hoa Binh Tourist JSC has increased significantly. The company has signed contracts with partners from France, Germany and the Netherlands which are expected to offer a stable number of tourists. Currently, the company is implementing a sales plan for 2018-2019 that targets high-end clients who want to stroll to explore culture and nature of Hoa Binh./.
