HBO – Representatives from the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA), the Vietnam Society of Travel Agents (VISTA), the provincial Tourism Association, travel firms in Hanoi, and representatives of press agencies joined a famtrip to the Hoa Binh Lake Tourism Area in Hoa Binh province from November 9-11.

The Hoa Binh Lake Tourism Area is a key zone for tourism development in Hoa Binh. The master plan for the development of the Hoa Binh Lake National Tourism Site until 2035 was approved by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 439/QD-TTg, dated March 25, 2021.

The trip started at Thung Nai wharf in Cao Phong district. The delegation visited Da Bia community tourism village in Tien Phong commune of Da Bac district, enjoyed Muong people’s foods arranged on leaves, watched Gong and traditional music performance, and stayed at homestays.

The 45-member delegation also joined rural markets of the Muong Ao Ta ethnic group, went kayaking and fishing, and visited cage fish farming establishments.

They experienced short tours around Ngoi village in Suoi Hoa commune (Tan Lac district) and enjoy local foods.

The final destination of the journey was Ba Khan eco-tourism site in Mai Chau district. The delegation recorded videos, and checked on tourism services at Ba Khan Village Resort.

Through the trip, representatives from travel agencies highly valued the tourism products of the Hoa Binh Lake Tourism Area, saying that they plan to design and include those into their tours in the coming time.

The annual organisation of famtrips contributes to further promoting tourism development in the Hoa Binh Lake Tourism Area, as well as enhancing links between localities with travel businesses in developing high-quality tours .
