(HBO) - Authorities of Luong Son district in Hoa Binh province have planned to develop tourism into a spearhead economic sector, focusing on resort eco-tourism, experience, sports, and entertainment tourism. Boasting natural beauty, unique and diverse cultural values and many historical and cultural relic sites, Luong Son has great potential to further promote tourism development.

Visiting Luong Son, tourists will be astonished to see the natural beauty and archaeological sites such as Tram Cave, Tam Cave, Diem Stone Roof, Vua Ba Mountain, Da Bac Cave, Nui Sang Cave, and Man Nguyen Cave, among others.

Nguyen Thi Tien, Deputy Head of the Division of Culture and Information of Luong Son district, said local authorities have concentrated on organising traditional festivals, developing unique tourism products, upgrading infrastructure serving tourism, and preserving traditional cultural values of ethnic groups in the locality.
Attention has been paid to developing and expanding culture and spiritual tourism, eco-tourism, resorts, sports, and experience tourism; and improving the quality of tourism services, he added.
The province’s gateway land has become an attractive site for visitors with a series of luxurious resorts such as Violet Villa in Nhuan Trach commune and Ivory Villa & Resort in Lam Son commune.
With convenient transport systems, new resorts with modern architecture and close to nature are suitable for families at weekends and gatherings among friends.

The local authorities have always created favourable conditions for investors to develop tourism projects. A number of projects being surveyed,and invested include Paradise Hoa Binh resort complex in Cao Son commune; Nang waterfall ecological resort in Cu Yen commune; Legary Culture Luong Son complex in the communes of Cao Son, Cu Yen, Tan Vinh; Ngan Pho ecological urban area in Lam Son commune, Legacy Hill resort in Cu Yen commune, La Saveur resort in Nhuan Trach commune, among others.
In the first nine months of 2023, Luong Son welcomed 155,000 tourists, including 80,000 foreigners. The locality earned nearly 108 billion VND (nearly 4.4 million USD) from tourism activities in the period.
