Sightseeing and resort destinations in Hoa Binh province are currently ready to welcome tourists on the occasion of the International Women’s Day (March 8) with attractive programmes and interesting experiential activities for families and women.

Flower-blanketed space at Soi Resort In Farm in Phu Thanh commune (Lac Thuy) attracts crowds of women to visit and check in.

"An ideal destination for women" is the message of Un's House Homestay in Nhan My commune (Tan Lac) to tourists on the occasion of the International Women's Day. Put into operation in mid-2022, this homestay has been preferred by many domestic and foreign tourists. Le Hoai Thuong from Hanoi capital city said: "On this occasion, my friends, all retirees, and I book a room at Un's House. All of the scenery and service attitude of the homestay have satisfied us. We have had a leisurely vacation together, taking photos with the rice fields and flowers, cycling, and enjoying many specialties of Hoa Binh.”

With its view of Hoa Binh lake, Mai Chau Hideaway (Mai Chau) is a choice of many holiday-makers on this occasion.

On this special occasion, Meddom Park – the heritage park of Vietnamese scientists in Tieng hamlet, Bac Phong commune (Cao Phong), has become flooded with visitors from various provinces and cities across the country. This is also one of the attractive destinations that stands out with activities to explore the entire 30-ha park by electric car, and checking in at unique works such as a book-shape building, Hoa stream, and Love bridge.

Many resorts and tourist sites in Hoa Binh province are also offering promotion programmes to serve women. For example, Meddom Park is giving discounts of 50% for entrance tickets, and room prices for visitors staying overnight on the International Women's Day; while Soi Resort In Farm has attractive combos including standard rooms, breakfast, entrance tickets, use of swimming pool, playground and experience activities for free of charge, on weekdays from February to March.

According to Dang Tuan Hung, head of the Tourism Management Division under the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, this is an opportunity for Hoa Binh tourism to attract visitors. With the advantage of being close to Hanoi, destinations with spaces filled with flowers or tourist sites with beautiful views of the lake, and poetic and majestic landscapes such as Mai Chau Hideaway, Ba Khan Villa Resort (Mai Chau), and Serena Resort Kim Boi (Kim Boi) are being chosen by a large number of people and tourists.
