Various activities are being held across the nation to commemorate the Hung Kings, the legendary founders of the country, on April 25, or the 10th day of the third lunar month.
A large number of
locals flock to the Hung Kings’ Temple in Thoi
Binh district in the southernmost province
of Ca Mau.
A commemoration took place at the Dai Hung historical relic site in
Hong Linh town, Ha Tinh province on April 25 to pay tribute to the Hung Kings.
The Ha Tinh ceremony featured a range of cultural and artistic
activities to stimulate patriotism and national pride, while preserving and
promoting the cultural values of traditional festivals.
Local offerings were brought to the Thuong Temple
dedicated to the Hung Kings in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province.
Thousands of local people and tourists joined the commemoration to the
Hung Kings in Da Lat.
Folk games attract the interest of crowds.
Also on Wednesday, the southernmost province
of Ca Mau hosts a ceremony to pay
tribute to the nation’s legendary founders at the Hung Kings’ Temple in Thoi Binh district.
A similar commemoration took place at the Hung Kings’ memorial site in
the ethnic history and culture park in District 9, Ho Chi Minh City.
The event was attended by local authorities and crowds of local people.
The elders offered gifts to the Hung Kings at the Tan Hiep town’s
temple.

More than 3 years ago, Chi Ne Plantation Industry and Trade Cooperative in Song Boi village, Phu Nghia commune (Lac Thuy) brought mulberry growing and silkworm farming to the locality. The cool climate and the long alluvial land along the Boi River are ideal conditions for growing new crops.
