Ly Son, one of important frontier islands of the country, is located in Quang Ngai province, 15 nautical miles (28km) from the mainland. The waterway is the only route to this island district.

In recent years, with sea and island tourism developing strongly, Ly Son island has welcomed thousands of visitors and various ships transporting necessities, creating a bustling atmosphere at the local seaport from early morning until evening.

The seaport is always crowded with ships transporting necessities for local people on the island.

Ly Son has many beautiful landscapes such as To Vo gate, Duc pagoda and Cau cave, attracting thousands of tourists every year.
