According to the Department of Industry and Trade, Hoa Binh province, the total retail sales and service revenue for October 2024 is estimated at 6.358 trillion VND, an increase of 0.27% from the previous month and 17.31% year-over-year. The increase in total retail sales is attributed to the high demand for cultural, educational, and household goods, along with continued positive trends in accommodation, food and beverage services, and travel and tourism.

In 10 months of this year, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue at current prices is estimated at 61.412 trillion VND, achieving 82.60% of the annual plan. The consumer price index decreased by 0.13% from the previous month, with an average increase of 1.85% over the 10 months. The main reason for the decrease is the weather, which saw frequent rain and cooler temperatures, especially at night, leading to a reduced demand for electricity and water.

In the year's final months, the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to implement measures to closely monitor market conditions, ensure an adequate supply of essential goods for the population, especially during holidays and Tet, and prevent shortages and price spikes.
