Agricultural Cooperative, Ngoc Luong Commune (Yen Thuy) is typical in the
movement to support each other in terms of experience, seed, capital and good
business management.
Not only the model of a group of farmers
growing Dien grapefruit, in the area of the commune, there appears many models
of together enrichment, some typical
models are such as reproductive pig breeding model in the branch villages of
Thung, Lien Tien, Doi 1; planting green pumpkins in villages of Dai Dong, Yen
Luong, Lien Tien; growing flowers in villages of Ba Cau, Bo Song, Ho 1;
planting Dien grapefruit, green grapefruit, red grapefruit, dragon fruit in
villages of Dai Dong, Kim Quan, Nghia 2, Chenh, Truong Son, Lieu, Bo Song, Ho
1, Ho 2, Ho 3. On the basis of gathering, promoting the role of farmers in
economic development to get rich, there are more production cooperatives, new
cooperatives, that is the breeding cooperative of Liêu village with 25 members,
cooperative of Nghia 2 village with 35 members.
In addition, the movement to help other
difficult members by the working day, capital, production experience, trees,
and breeding seedlings has increasingly spread in the branches and
organizations. From 2013 up to now, branches and organizations have supported
nearly 1,000 working days, hundreds of millions dongs of capital, helping 26
households escape from poverty conditions.
The active support from the various levels of
the relevant associations and committees related to seed, capital, technology,
market information, branding and consumption of agricultural products,
resources of farming members have been strengthened for farmers in production
and business, step by step forming concentrated production areas, specializing
in large commodity. Specifically, 1,250 households have been granted loans to
develop production with outstanding loans of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural
Development and Social Policy Bank of over 50 billion VND. About 1,000 members
have been trained on science and technology in animal husbandry, cultivation,
preservation of agricultural products, composting organic fertilizer, market
approach. Significantly, from the Central Farmer Fund, the commune Farmers'
Association has implemented two projects, including breeding cows with a total
budget of VND 510 million and Dien grapefruit planting with a total funding of
VND 900 million.
Along with the emulation movement of good
production, good business, in joining for enrichment movement, there are many
good and creative branches such as Dai Dong, Yen Luong, Chenh, Truong Son,
Lieu, Ho 1, Ho 3, Lien Tien, Doi 2, Ba Cau, Nghia 2. Some typical good business
households are such as the household of Mr. Vu Xuan Oanh, Dai Dong village,
earning 700 million dongs / year from Dien grapefruit planting; the household
of Mr. Hoang Van Mau, Lieu village, growing mushrooms for the income of 250
million dongs / year; the household of Mr. Luu Ho Lam, Chenh village, raising
honey bees and planting Dien grapefruit with the income of 300 million dongs /
year; Mr. Trinh Van Huynh, Lien Tien village with the model of producing
construction materials for the income of 400 million dongs per year.
Recently, the Standing Committee of Cao Phong District’s Youth Communist Union has actively directed the effective implementation of the models of collective economic development among youth, promoting the start-up movement among the youth, and helping each other develop the economy to get rich in their homeland.
Da Bac district leverages its abundant grazing lands and diverse food resources to develop goat farming as a key economic model. This initiative not only enhances incomes but also contributes to poverty alleviation and local socio-economic development.
