(HBO) - The Department of Transportation is implementing the construction project for renewing Trang bridge (Dong Tien Ward, Hoa Binh City). According to the plan approved by the People's Committee of the province, 36 billion VND from the provincial budget will be invested in Trang Bridge to renew at the position of Km0 + 20 Cu Chinh Lan road.

Specifically, Trang Bridge is newly built with the following
structural scale: The bridge of 1 simple span with the length of 25m, the
reinforced concrete structure and pre-stressed reinforced concrete. The design
load of the bridge is HL93. Its width is 24m, in which the width of the vehicle
is 12 m, the width of the road is 6m each side. The part of the road on both
sides of the bridge ensures the road direction, the bridge’s length and the
design altitude ensures the general planning of Hoa Binh City until 2035. The
project will also carry out the renovation and the reinforcement of the
upstream and downstream bridge, arranging lights to ensure urban beauty.
According to the Department of Transportation up till now,
the project has completed the survey, the construction drawing design, the pile
plugging to determine the clearance, preparing the cadastral files, demining
bombs and explosive objects. The People's Committee of the province will
approve the contractor selection plan so that the project can continue to
implement on schedule.
Once a mountainous province facing many challenges, Hoa Binh has, after more than a decade of implementing the national target programme on new-style rural area development, emerged as a bright spot in Vietnam’s northern midland and mountainous region. In the first quarter of 2025, the province recorded positive results, paving the way for Hoa Binh to enter a phase of accelerated growth with a proactive and confident mindset.

From just 16 certified products in its inaugural year to 158 by early 2025, the One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme in Hoa Binh province has followed a steady and strategic path. But beyond the numbers, it has reawakened local heritage, turning oranges, bamboo shoots, brocade, and herbal remedies into branded, market-ready goods - and, more profoundly, transformed how local communities value and present their own cultural identity.
