(HBO) – The People’s Committee of Hoa Binh province held a ceremony to mark the 15th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13) and honour outstanding businesses and businesspeople.

the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee,
and Vu Tien Loc, Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry
(VCCI) present certificates of merit to outstanding firms in Hoa Binh in 2019.
The
event was attended by Bui Van Tinh, member of the Party Central Committee,
Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Honorary President of the
provincial Business Association; Vu Tien Loc, Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber
of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and President of the Central Council of Vietnam
Business Associations; Tran Dang Ninh, Permanent Vice Secretary of the
provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Council and
head of Hoa Binh’s NA deputy delegation; Ngo Van Tuan, Vice Secretary of the
provincial Party Committee; and Bui Van Khanh, Vice Secretary of the provincial
Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, along with
representatives of departments, agencies and localities, and investors in Hoa
Binh.
In his opening remarks, Khanh lauded significant contributions of businesses
and entrepreneurs to local socio-economic development over the past time.
Efforts by the business community and people of all social strata have helped
to spur the province’s growth across spheres, he said, adding that both rural
and urban areas have been given a facelift.
The People’s Committee and Party Committee have employed flexible and suitable
solutions, while drastically instructing competent agencies and local
authorities to continue improving the local investment environment and
competitiveness, and organising dialogues with businesses and investors in
order to remove their difficulties.
He urged all-level Party Committees and authorities as well as competent
agencies to further support businesses and reform administrative procedures.
Meanwhile, businesses were asked to promote their solidarity, seek consumer
markets for products and learn more about relevant laws.
Addressing the event, Loc congratulated Hoa Binh on its socio-economic
achievements as well as its improved provincial competitiveness index.
He also acknowledged great contributions of the provincial Business Association
to Hoa Binh’s development, and expressed hope that businesspeople in the
locality will be pioneers in development and innovation.
VCCI will support and accompany Hoa Binh in improving the local business
environment and developing the contingent of entrepreneurs, he pledged./.
Once a mountainous province facing many challenges, Hoa Binh has, after more than a decade of implementing the national target programme on new-style rural area development, emerged as a bright spot in Vietnam’s northern midland and mountainous region. In the first quarter of 2025, the province recorded positive results, paving the way for Hoa Binh to enter a phase of accelerated growth with a proactive and confident mindset.
