The 2017 Vietnam – China International Trade Fair officially opened in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai on November 10, featuring the participation of over 300 enterprises.


                          A pavilion of Vietnamese enterprises at the fair

The fair featured 211 pavilions of Chinese enterprises from Yunnan, Sichuan and Hubei; as well as over 500 booths from Vietnam.

In addition, numerous enterprises from other countries and territories, including the Republic of Korea (RoK), Laos, Thailand, the Republic of Ghana and Chinese Taipei, were in attendance at the event.

The enterprises introduced their products in different commodities, including agro-forestry-fishery products, mechanics, electronics, wooden products, leather goods, garments, household appliances and handicrafts.

The annual fair is held alternately in Lao Cai (Vietnam) and Yunnan (China) provinces, aiming to promote the trade between Vietnam – China and other countries, towards cooperation, friendship and development.

The event was a chance for enterprises to introduce their products and services as well as seek more opportunities to expand their investment, cooperation and market.

During the six-day fair, enterprises from Vietnam, China and other participating countries signed numerous cooperation agreements along with trade and tourism contacts.

 

The fair attracts a large number of visitors.
