This year, the province's state budget revenue estimate
allocated by the Prime Minister is 3.89 trillion VND, and by the provincial
People's Council 6.41 trillion VND. Of the total, import and export revenue
allocated by the Government and the provincial People's Council is 315 billion
VND; and domestic revenue allocated by the Government 3.58 trillion VND, and by
the provincial People's Council 6.09 trillion VND, including revenue from taxes
and fees (excluding land use levy) being 2.38 trillion VND and 2.99 trillion
VND, respectively, and collection from land use levy being 1.2 trillion VND and

The implementation of the state budget collection task is
considered to be difficult as the COVID-19 pandemic has not shown any signs of
cooling down, greatly affecting production and business activities, financial
capacity and the observance of state budget obligation of taxpayers. However,
according to Deputy Director of the provincial Tax Department Nguyen Anh Tuan,
the department has determined that one of the key tasks is to support taxpayers
to quickly restore production and business, and strengthen the management of
budget collection right from the first month and first quarter of this year,
with focus on increasing the quality of inspection and examination to prevent
revenue loss, smuggling, trade fraud, and reduce tax debt.
According to the Steering Committee on the collection and
payment to the provincial state budget, by the end of February, state budget
revenue in the locality is estimated at 1.09 trillion VND, equal to 17.1
percent of the yearly estimate assigned by the provincial People's Council.
This result shows that the work in the first two months of the year achieved
positive growth, posting a year-on-year rise of nearly 60 percent./.

Located in the northern part of Lac Thuy district, with a temperate climate and fertile soil, Phu Thanh commune has great potential and advantages in growing tea. The long-standing experience, combined with strict adherence to organic farming practices in the tea gardens, ensures that the dried tea products from Phu Thanh and Lac Thuy as a whole are sold out immediately upon production, providing a stable and prosperous life for the local people.
Amid efforts to streamline the administrative apparatus, Hoa Binh province has intensified measures to address challenges in land clearance, resettlement support, and infrastructure investment, aiming to speed up the progress of key projects.
Hoa Binh province has posted an unprecedented economic growth rate of 12.76% in the first quarter of 2025, marking its highest quarterly performance to date and positioning it as the second fastest-growing locality in the country, trailing only Bac Giang province.
Under current regulations, products in the One Commune – One Product (OCOP) programme that are rated three stars or higher must undergo re-evaluation every three months. However, in reality, some of these products fail to consistently meet the required standards, raising concerns about the sustainability of their OCOP certification. This underscores the urgent need for producers to enhance product quality and gradually develop their OCOP products into strong, marketable brands.
