Some typical products such as Cao Phong orange, Tan Lac pomelo, Da river fish, Lac Son and Lac Thuy chicken, and Luong Son safe vegetable have been sold at supermarkets, shopping centres, and convenient stores.

Relevant departments and localities have also supported businesses and cooperatives in renovating technology and equipment serving production, and expanding production.

Local businesses and cooperatives have been urged to build brands for their products, and diversify products with competitive advantage, thus increasing the value and competitiveness for products, and gradually accessing new and potential markets.

In recent years, provincial authorities have approved the deployment of nearly 60 production and sale chains to ensure food safety; implemented domestic demand stimulation and market expansion programmes via e-commerce activities; and developed sale outlets to popularise and sell OCOP products, specialties, potential goods, and typical rural industrial products of the locality.

A series of measures have been taken in order to ensure the supply- demand balance and prevent supply disruptions and price hikes, and speculation, especially for essential commodities.

The provincial People’s Committee has also focused on directing departments, sectors and localities to strengthen trade promotion and market management, towards promoting domestic and export trade, and maintaining and improving the efficiency of trade connection activities.

Attention has been also paid to keeping a close watch on the supply and demand of goods and services, the production and business of enterprises and cooperatives for essential products, thus ensuring enough goods to meet the demand./.
