(HBO) – The Business Association of Hoa Binh province has well performed its role as a representative of the business community to gather, promote unity, and support local businesses.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Chuong chairs a conference on implementing the announcement of the price of construction materials in the province.

It has also contributed to connecting with the local Party committees, authorities and sectors in assessing business ethics and social criticism, and forecasting market trends; and popularising documents on guidelines, policies and laws to enterprises, thus raising awareness of enterprises in abiding by guidelines, policies and laws of the State and the province.

The association has focused on collecting its members' feedbacks and recommendations about difficulties in investment, production and business activities, thus proposing provincial authorities and leaders to support them in addressing difficulties.

Regarding recommendations of members about the shortcomings in implementing the announcement of the price of construction materials in the locality, the association proposed to the provincial People's Committee to organise a symposium on measures to improve the work.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Chuong said right after the conference, the provincial Department of Construction will announce the material prices monthly and update in accordance with the market price at the time of announcement.

Accordingly, since June 2022, the Department of Construction has implemented the announcement of the price of materials every month, thus making it easier for investors and businesses in managing construction investment costs, speeding up the progress of projects and the disbursement of investment capital. The activity has also contributed to improving the province's competitiveness index.

With its role, the association has directly worked with local authorities, and submitted recommendations to the provincial People's Committee. The legal and legitimate suggestions and recommendations by the association have been promptly resolved.

On August 17, 2022, the provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1752/QD-UBND approving adjustments to the plan for exploring, exploiting and using minerals as construction materials in Hoa Binh province in the 2014 – 2019 period with a vision to 2024, and the plan to supplement the planning of 23 locations for exploring, exploiting and using minerals as construction materials with a total area of 550.33 hectares in Hoa Binh city and the districts of Tan Lac, Kim Boi, Luong Son, Da Bac, Mai Chau, Lac Thuy, Yen Thuy, Cao Phong, and Lac Son, thereby significantly contributing to removing difficulties facing investors and businesses in implementing their projects.
