(HBO) - In the first quarter of 2023, the province’s import and export turnover achieved the positive results. Accordingly, the export value was estimated at over $361.6 million, increasing 7.34% compared to that of the same period last year, equaling 21.34% of the year plan. In which, the group of electronic goods reached 195.6 million USD, increasng 3.76% compared to that of the same period last year; the group of textile and garment goods reached 114 million USD, increasing 11.77% compared to that of the same period last year.

Also in the first quarter, the import value in the whole province was estimated at 283.3 million USD, increasing 8.5% compared to that of over the same period last year, equaling 25.82% of the year plan.

In the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee has directed to promote the investment attraction, focusing on removing the difficulties to strengthen the production and business activities of the enterprises in the industrial zones and clusters, especially the key enterprises in the field of export including garment, electronic components production... At the same time, it is necessary to encourage the enterprises to promote the application and diversification of e-commerce business methods, online purchase and sale; participating in domestic and foreign e-commerce exchanges to introduce and promote products, find partners, maintain and expand the market for the products in the locality.
