(HBO) - For the term of 2018 - 2023, the Farmers; Union at all levels of Hoa Bing city has promoted the activities accompanying, advising and supporting the farmer members to build OCOP products from the key agricultural products of the locality.



Hoa Binh Green Department Store (No. 152 at Thinh Lang Avenue, Hoa BinhCity) was established with support to promote and sell the agricultural productsof high quality with the stamps of origin from the farmers in the province toconsumers.

 

The consulting and supporting services for farmers have been paid attention to.In particular, the Union has coordinated to organize 256 training courses on thescientific and technical knowledge for 8,099 turns of the farmer members.These courses are on the on animal husbandry, cultivation, preservation ofagricultural products of all kinds, techniques of composting organic fertilizers,bio-fertilizers, and safe bedding in animal husbandry;themethods of planningfor socio-economic development and market access; they have coordinated withthe Provincial Post Office to organize 19 training classes, guiding andsupporting 726 officials, farmer member and the agricultural households to setup information to promote, introduce and sell products on e-commerceplatforms Postmart.vn, voso.vn, Sendo.vn... 

Along with scientific and technical guidance and training, the Unions at alllevels have supported 6 production facilities and 12 farmer households to bringagricultural products and handicrafts to participate in introducing the city;sagricultural products at 3 conference programs summarizing the movement ofthe Union and the city's branches and unions; 6 conferences and fairs in theprovince and the region. Through product introductions and displays, 6 focalbusinesses have been attracted to sign a long-term production and productconsumption cooperation program for the farmers. 

During its term, the Farmers; Union of Hoa Binh city has coordinated to open 4safe agricultural product stores and 1 OCOP product introduction store as a linkpoint to introduce and promote OCOP products and typical products of thelocality. In addition, there are 12 agricultural products of the City’s farmermembers that have been coordinated with the functional branches to support theorigin of the traceability stamps, supporting the product certification accordingto Vietgap standards and OCOP product certification.
