In the afternoon of December 8th, in Cao Phong district, the Provincial Trade and Tourism Investment Promotion Center organized a conference to connect trade and product consumption between the businesses and cooperatives in the areas of ethnic minorities and the mountainous ones of Hoa Binh province. There was the attendance of the leaders from the departments, branches, People's Committees of the districts and the city and 60 businesses and cooperatives inside and outside the province.


The businesses and cooperatives signed the product consumption contracts at the conference.

 

Currently, in the province there are 512 cooperatives attracting over 17 thousand members and over 31 thousand workers. Regarding the agricultural sector, in the whole province there are 80 products of 69 cooperatives recognized as 3-star and 4-star OCOP products; 32% of the products are certified by Vietgap, GlobalGap, qualified for organic food safety. In the whole province there are 118 cooperatives in non-agricultural fields such as mechanics, textiles, knitting... The average revenue is estimated at 2.4 billion VND/cooperative/year, the average profit is 270 million VND/cooperative, the revenue is estimated at 2.4 billion VND/cooperative/year. The average income of regular workers reaches 4.4 million VND.

In the past year, the local departments and branches have actively supported the units participating in fairs, exhibitions, conferences to connect supply and demand, and the week to introduce the agricultural products and processed products in provinces and the city all over the country. The forms of implementing trade promotion programs have been improved with many diverse forms; In addition to the exhibitions, the trade information activities, training and developing human resources, connecting supply and demand, and introducing the participating businesses in the sales chains in major markets have been focused on promoting. Additionally, they have coordinated with 3 e-commerce platforms to support businesses in purchasing the agricultural products.

At the conference, the businesses and cooperatives exchanged solutions and implementation methods to connect products between the businesses and cooperatives in the area. At the same time, it is recommended that the province soon develop the policies to support businesses, assigning th focal points for coordinating and training technology transfer for farmers and cooperative groups; building the agricultural infrastructure, implementing the marketing strategies and promoting the agricultural products; Support businesses to access preferential capital... The opinions and recommendations of businesses and cooperatives are answered frankly and promptly by the representatives of departments and branches.

At the end of the conference, the businesses and cooperatives signed the product consumption contracts.
