Bui Van Manh of Be Duoi village of Chi Dao commune (Lac Son) succeeding in "Doi” transplanting technique, gains a stable income for his family.

Manh’s family has the tradition of nursery seedlings to sell at the market. However, until he succeeded in transplanting the menghudor trees, he and his family could achieve to have a better life. Manh shared: Firstly, when I saw that transplanting "Doi” trees was implemented successfully in Be Tren village, I was so excited but I had no experience at that time. Then I searched on the Internet to study, watch instruction videos and applied but failed in 2-3 times of transplanting. This made me bored but I did not want to quit. I learned from my own experience and got more study. Although, the proportion of success in transplanting is fluctuated from 20 to 30%., which meant that there was no effectiveness but severe failure.

His defeat did not make him disappointed; at the end Manh’s effort brought deserved success to him. The proportion success of transplanting has risen gradually, up to 90% of some lanes now. Once success, Manh uses his mobile phone to record and upload on Youtube (the largest mass media in the world now) so that he can attract more customers. He has some big clients from Gia Lai, Dac Lac, Dac Nong. According his share, the advantage of transplanted "Doi” trees is the harvesting time of only after 4 years (in the North) and 3 years (in the South).

His father, Bui Van Tinh delighted said: We are so delighted that we have supplied about 2,500 breeding transplanted "Doi” trees for clients with the price of 50,000 dongs/ one which gained a quite good income in the past year. And this year, it has increased to 20,000 seedlings which have been already ordered. In general, at present, the supply source cannot meet the needs of the market.

20,000 seedlings for the market mean that his family has earned much greater this year. Sharing about transplanting techniques, Manh said: Compared to other plants like grapefruit, lemon, Logan, transplanting "Doi” is much more complicated. In order to get the qualified transplanting "Doi”, his family had to select the seeds from the high productive trees for transplanting, and select the transplanted branches from the origin trees at the same time. Transplanting successfully requires the transplanting people to be careful, especially the caring process needs much more attention than other crops.

"Now I start planting the seedlings so that they can be transplanted in August next year. It lasts from 8 months to 1 year to transplant successfully for selling seedlings. In order to meet the current needs of customers, my family is planning to expand the "Doi” planting garden as well as transplant some other seedlings for more diverse supply sources”, he added.
