In the first quarter of 2024, the credit institutions in the province have actively deployed the legal documents of the State and the State Bank relating to currency, credit and interest rates. At the same time, they have promoted the capital mobilization, focusing on the solutions to expand the credit investment along with strengthening the credit quality management, lending to priority programs to promptly meet the capital needs for export - business and consumer demand during Tet in 2024.

loans to the households in the area.
It is estimated that by March 31, 2024, the total capital of
credit institutions has reached 40,128 billion VND, increasing 2% compared to
that of the end of 2023. Of which, the capital mobilized from the economic
organizations and residents is estimated to reach 48,668 billion VND,
increasing 2% compared to that of the end of 2023. The total outstanding debt
in the entire area is estimated to reach 27,992 billion VND, decreasing 29.75%
compared to that of December 31, 2023. The bad debt in the whole area is below
2% of the total outstanding debt.
In 2024, the total state budget revenue of Hoa Binh Province is estimated at approximately VND 6,930 billion, achieving 183% of the Government’s target, 126% of the target assigned by the Provincial People's Council, and 145% compared to the same period last year.
In 2024, Hoa Binh province has shown signs of improvement in attracting investment and developing enterprises.
The provincial Department of Industry and Trade developed a two-way trade model to enhance market access for the products of the ethnic minority people in Kim Boi and Lac Son district. The initiative aims at expanding distribution network for local essential goods.
Lac Thuy district has many advantages in terms of climate and soil; hard-working and diligent people, along with a large area of agricultural land to develop safe agricultural models. These are favourable conditions for the district to develop OCOP (one commune one product) products from its agricultural resources and strengths. In addition, its socio-economic infrastructure system has been renovated and upgraded, facilitating the development of trade, services and tourism.
