Nearly 30 businesses from Hoa Binh and Lam Dong provinces attended a trade connectivity conference held in Hoa Binh city on June 25 to expand their markets.

According to a report delivered at the conference, Hoa Binh now has 158 OCOP products rated three stars or higher, including 32 rated four stars, seven of which have been exported to the US, the UK, and the EU. Besides, the province is housing two shopping malls, seven supermarkets, and 95 markets.

Meanwhile, Lam Dong has focused on high-tech agriculture in an area of 63,000 hectares. It has more than 400 OCOP products, three shopping malls, five supermarkets, and 83 markets.

The conference offered a good opportunity for producers, suppliers, and distributors to discuss cooperation opportunities and expand markets for their products. It was expected to pave the ways for both sides to promote trade connectivity in specific sectors, while contributing to implementing the "Vietnamese people prioritise Vietnamese goods” campaign to encourage local production and business.
