Following the targets set in the resolution of the district People's Council, the People's Committee of Lac Thuy district has directed the steering board for preventing state budget loss as well as agencies, and commune and town administrations to roll out measures to increase revenue and prevent budget loss since the beginning of this year. The district has proactively arranged funds for regular expenditures, prioritising important tasks and resources for social security policies.

During the January – September period, its collection for the State budget was estimated at 145.7 billion VND (nearly 5.9 million USD), accounting for 90.94% of the estimate of the provincial People's Committee and 63.3% of the target set in the resolution of the district People's Council. The total budget revenue of the district was estimated at 524.9 billion VND, or 90.29% of the estimate of the provincial People's Committee and 81.33% of the target set in the resolution of the district People's Council. Its total budget expenditure in the first nine months reached 515.8 billion VND, representing 88.73% and 79.93%, respectively.

In the last quarter of this year, the district will step up coordination between tax and finance agencies and People's Committees of communes and towns in the management of state budget collection. Communication work on tax policies and laws will be enhanced along with inspecting tax declarations of organisations and individuals in line with the provisions of tax regulations.
