The festival of great national solidarity and culture in 2024 was held at the communal house of Da Bac district on November 5. Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Toan and leaders of departments and sectors attended the event.

of Hoa Binh province present gifts to Lien Phuong residential area in Da Bac
town (Da Bac district) on the occasion of the great national solidarity
festival.
The residential area is home to 237 households
with 841 people. In 2024, the average per capita income is estimated to reach
over 66 million VND (nearly 2,600 USD). The residential area still has four
poor households and five near-poor ones. The movement of "All people unite
to build a cultural life” and preserving and promoting the national culture
values has been effectively performed. As many as 232 out of the 237 households
have obtained the title "cultural family”.
Addressing the festival, Vice Chairman of the
provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Toan acknowledged and commended the
results achieved by the residential area. He urged local residents to
effectively implement the campaign "All people unite to build new rural
areas and promote urban civilization”, proactively implement patriotic
emulation movements and support each other in economic development, and promote
the great national solidarity bloc and the spirit of creative emulation among
people of all walks of life, as well as their participation in building and
defending the country.
He also requested them to mobilise maximum
resources to successfully realise the targets set in resolutions of all-level
Party congresses for the 2020-2025 tenure, and pay attention to effectively
implementing a programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the
district.
On this occasion, the provincial Party
Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee
presented gifts to Lien Phuong residential area in Da Bac town. Ten families
with difficult circumstances in Da Bac district also received relief from the
local administration.
