According to Vice Chairwoman of the Hoa Binh

building several communications models to raise public awareness of gender and

minority-inhabited areas.
Due attention has been paid to the organisation
of training courses on the issues, she said, adding the communication work has
been implemented with creative approaches, including social media campaigns,
radio and TV programmes in Vietnamese, Thai and Muong ethnic languages, and
leaflet distribution.
Besides, the women’s unions at all levels have
engaged in various events to promote gender equality and settle urgent issues
related to women and girls, with noteworthy ones comprising the "Hoa Binh women
joining hands to build new-style rural areas” campaign, "peaceful village for
women and girls” model, and those promoting family values, anti-child marriage
