In 2024, with the theme "Year of Volunteer Youth", the movement created conditions for each union member and youth to promote their role, responsibility, and spirit of youth to participate in activities for the benefit of the community, contributing to the common development of the locality, with focus on disadvantageous and remote areas, especially communes that have not reached the new-style rural area finish line yet.

With the tireless activities of the youth, in 2024, the district carried out 250 youth projects and tasks. Local youths coordinated to present 3,270 gifts, worth more than 1.5 billion VND (59,000 USD); helped maintain traffic safety in front of 38 school gates; and organised 35 campaigns to ensure traffic safety and order. They also planted over 56,200 new trees, mainly along rural roads, and in production forests, and protective forests.

In addition, 860 gifts worth more than 675 million VND were presented to poor students who have made great strides in their studies.
