The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hoa Binh province officially launched its 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign on May 24 at Mai Chau High School, introducing a range of activities aimed at supporting disadvantaged communities, ethnic minorities, and remote areas.
Running from June through August, the province-wide campaign features the flagship "Exam Season Support” initiative and four themed volunteer programmes tailored for students, young workers, and armed force personnel.

This year’s campaign focuses on delivering practical outcomes in remote and ethnic minority areas. Key activities include building and repairing youth facilities, supporting social welfare programmes, assisting families with meritorious service and policy beneficiaries, and promoting digital transformation and smart farming practices at the community level. Other priorities include environmental protection, cultural development, community-based tourism, summer skills training, child safety, and support for candidates and their families during the national high school exam.

At the launching event, donations worth over 120 million VND (approx. 4,700 USD) were presented. These included the playground, the "happy house,” two sanitation kits, 20 gift packages for disadvantaged students, and 20 life jackets for local children. Of the total, 95 million VND was contributed by district authorities.
The event also featured an award ceremony for top performers in an online contest on the Resolutions of the Congresses of the Vietnam Youth Federation at all levels; and Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science,technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.

Following the ceremony, delegates and young volunteers took part in a series of community activities, including free medical care, the inauguration of a new computer room at Hang Kia B Primary and Secondary School, a digital literacy drive, guidance on using VNPT SmartCA digital signatures, and awareness campaigns addressing drug, e-cigarette, and stimulant abuse, as well as safe internet practices for children.
