(HBO) – Hoang Van Thu Gifted High School has organized a ceremony to receive the accreditation certificate of national standard school in the period of 2017 -2022 and had preliminary summary for the first semester in the school year of 2017-2018.

 

On behalf of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Dang Quang Ngan, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training awarding the National School Accreditation Certificate to the Management Board of the school.

In the school year of 2017-2018, Hoang Van Thu Gifted High School has 1,356 students (including 168 ethnic minority students), who belong to 43 classes with 12 gifted classes. The school currently has 129 staff and teachers (01 doctor, 2 doctoral students and 52 masters). The school Party Branch now has 3 branches with 87 Party members and has achieved the branch of "clean and strong” for many years.

Over the past years, the school has always affirmed the leading position in the quality of the provincial high schools with the proportion of 100% students passing high school graduation; the proportion of students passing the entrance exams to universities remains stable at 90%. The activities of science researches and international cooperation have been developed sharply. The school has more than 35 students achieving the Award of National Excellent Students every year.

In the first semester of 2017- 2018 school year, the school has 65.12% of students ranked good at academic strength, 34.88% of students ranked quite good, no student is ranked average. There are 97.79% of students ranked good at conduct, only 2.21% students ranked quite good, no students ranked average. In the latest excellent student competition of the provincial high schools, the school has 287 students getting the prizes (47 first prizes, 74 second prizes, 96 third prizes and 70 consolation prizes).

The school’s facilities, such as classrooms, functional offices, library and dormitories, etc. has been built and fully equipped to meet the standard and the needs of teaching and learning.
