(HBO) – Tran Dang Ninh, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoa Binh province and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, on February 5 visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mother Bui Thi Chung, born in 1923, whose son – Bui Van Tach was sacrificed in the resistance war against the US, and Luong Van Lien, 100, in Lac Son district.
Bui Thi Chung lives An Nghia commune,
while Luong Van Lien resides in Vu Ban township, Lac Son district.
In Yen Thuy district, Vice Secretary Tran
Dang Ninh and leaders of the local Department of Labour, War Invalids and
Social Affairs, Association of the Elderly, the Party Committee and People’s
Committee of Yen Thuy district, and Cement Company X18 visited and presented
gifts to Vietnamese heroic mother Le Thi Dau, born in 1920, in Hang Tram
township, whose children - Vu Ngoc Tin and Pham Khanh Ngoc laid
down their lives in the resistance war against the US.

Handing over gifts of the State President,
the provincial Party, Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and
Vietnam Fatherland Front to the Vietnamese heroic mothers and Luong Van Lien,
Vice Secretary Tran Dang Ninh wished them good health and happiness in the new
year. He hoped they will continue encouraging their children to uphold national
cultural tradition and make contributions to nation building and safeguarding.
He asked authorities at levels, sectors and organisations of the two districts
to continue paying due attention to and caring for families of national
contributors, poor households while preparing all conditions for local
residents to welcome a joyful Tet.
On the occasion, the provincial Association of the Elderly, the Hoa Binh
Electricity Company and Lac Son district People’s Committee offered presents to
Vietnamese heroic mother Bui Thi Chung. The provincial Association of the
Elderly, the Party Committee and People’s Committee of Yen Thuy district,
Cement Company X18 presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mother Le Thi Dau. The
provincial Association of the Elderly and the Lac Son district People’s
Committee also presented gifts to Luong Van Lien./.
The Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province held a conference on March 18 to review the performance of the "Safe and Happy School" Project and set out tasks for 2025.
