The National Hospital of Tropical Diseases on May 9 launched a call centre for health consultancy and disease prevention.

The call centre 19003228 will operate round the clock, with many functions such as providing information about hospital services, giving directions related to administrative procedures for patients, receiving and sending questions to direct consultants.

Leading experts working in the fields of infectious and tropical diseases, nutrition and food safety, vaccination, and testing will be invited to answer questions and give consultancy to callers.

According to Professor Nguyen Van Kinh, Director of the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases, many modern technologies and devices to optimise multi-channel connection applications, support management and reckon frequency of calls; and integrate customer database management.

The call centre is expected to not only give people with more information about health care and disease prevention, but also help them connect with health experts, thus significantly helping to improve the people’s health and prevent diseases in the context of increasing new diseases recently.
