(HBO) - Being a remote and extremely difficult commune in Cao Phong district with high mountainous terrain, there are 820 households with over 3,600 people living in Xuan Phong commune scattered in 10 hamlets.

security in the area.
In order to prevent and stop the social evils
of drug addiction and prostitution trafficking in the area, the police in Xuan
Phong commune have mobilized local people to actively participate in denouncing
crimes and negative performances in recent years. They also co-ordinated with
surrounding communes in the district, such as Tan Phong, Dong Phong, Thu Phong,
Yen Lap and communes of Thuong Tien, Tu Son (Kim Boi) to regularly catch and
exchange information and handle all the cases related to order security
problems in time so that those cases would not last so long or being exceeded
up to higher level. The propaganda of harms and consequences of drug and
prostitution has been carried out widely and regularly in hamlets and schools.
All the individuals with previous criminal records are regularly called for
deterrence. The management of household registration is being paid attention to
in accordance with the Law on Residence, the number of people coming and going
is being strictly managed, strangers are not let illegally reside in their
localities, etc.
Thanks to proactive prevention, in 2017, Xuan
Phong commune police detected and prevented an illegal preaching in Nhoi 3
village. After 10 days, 29 sets of the Bibles were evicted. The case has been
resolved definitely, creating stability of order security in the area.
Thanks to the good work of preventing and
promoting the effectiveness of the movement of all the people protecting the
homeland, from the beginning of 2018, there have been no criminal offenses
committed in the commune. The commune police only handle some cases of alcohol
disorder in the villages. Particularly, thanks to good propaganda, mobilization,
the local people in the commune voluntarily handed over 5 self-made guns.
