(HBO) – After 6 years of implementing the National Goal Program about building New Rural Area, by the end of 2017, Cao Duong commune (Luong Son) had achieved 19 criteria. Coming to Cao Duong commune now, the first feeling was that the rural concrete roads were in good condition and clean; the system of irrigation canals has been strengthened, the infrastructure of medical health, culture and education has been improved and people's life has been step by step improved. Political security, social order and safety are maintained stable.

(Luong Son) was invested in being built to meet the standards, responding the
needs of traveling and exchanging goods of the local people.
There is a conversion of inefficient
production land into high economic value trees such as black radiation herbs,
single red plants, citrus trees. In addition, the commune has implemented
effective models of cultivation and husbandry along the direction of
consumption to meet the market demand. In the commune, there are two large
scale livestock Cooperatives that create jobs and stable incomes for local
laborers.
The program of building New Rural Area has contributed greatly to
socio-economic development of the commune. The economic growth rate was quite
high; the economic structure shifted positively, the income of the people
increased, the rate of poor households decreased, etc. In 2011, the income of
local people just reached 7.4 million VND per person, the rate of poor
households was 25.7%; by 2017, the income of the poor rose to 26 million VND,
the poverty household rate decreased to 8.3%. Especially since 2008, the
commune has destroyed temporary houses and dilapidated houses. From the support
of production development, the living condition and income of the local people
have been constantly improved. The economy has developed, the local people
actively participated in the construction of New Rural Area, creating the
movement of emulation "Together to build new countryside" developed
deeply and intensively throughout all the villages. the activities of
developing green - clean - beautiful environment is carried out regularly.
In the period of 2011-2017, Cao Duong commune
mobilized nearly 125 billion VND to build New Rural Area, in which the local
people donated over 11,000 m2 of land of all kinds, contributed over 3,000
working days and 8 billion VND to build rural infrastructure. In addition, people
mobilized their own resources to build 271 new houses and renovate houses,
toilets, water tanks, breeding areas with environmental sanitation guarantee,
etc. Thanks to New Rural Constructions, socio-economic infrastructure such as
electricity, roads, schools, health stations, irrigation systems are solidly
invested. Many effective economic models contribute to increase income for the
local people, and their lives become more stable.
The Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province held a conference on March 18 to review the performance of the "Safe and Happy School" Project and set out tasks for 2025.
