(HBO) - In recent months, the functional agencies of Hoa Binh city have been urgently implementing three resettlement projects in the area, including the construction projects of technical infrastructures for the resettlement area, and the movement of people from landslides in Hoa Binh commune, Trung Minh commune and Thai Binh ward, in order to soon receive over 130 households that are living in the areas highly tending to landslide to remove to safe places.


The resettlement area in Hoa Binh commune (in Hoa Binh city) is being completed infrastructure.

For the construction projects of technical infrastructures for the resettlement area, and the movement of people from landslides at Thai Binh ward, they have completed the construction of levelling ground, embankment, water drainage and movement of 22KV electrical line. The completed volume is estimated by over 80 percentages of the total volume of construction. The unit is carrying out the rest of construction works such as roads, electricity and water systems. By 20th of June, these works are basically completed.

For the construction projects of technical infrastructures for resettlement area, and the movement of people from landslides at Hoa Binh commune, they currently completed the construction of levelling ground, embankment, movement of 35KV electrical line and water drainage, which is estimated to complete by 75 percentages of the total volume of construction. The unit is urgently implementing construction works of roads, electricity and water systems. For the project of resettlement area at landslides of Hoa Binh commune, the contractors are fundamentally completed on 20th of June.

For the construction projects of technical infrastructures for resettlement area, and the movement of people from landslides at Trung Minh commune, the contractors have presently finished the works of levelling ground, movement of 22KV electrical line and water drainage. The construction unit estimated to complete by 70 percentages of the total volume. The other construction works of roads, electricity and water systems are currently speeding up. It is expected to be completed on 30th of June. 

According to the assessment of functional agencies of Hoa Binh City People’s Committee, the grounds of three resettlement areas in Hoa Binh commune, Trung Minh commune and Thai Binh ward are eligible for allocation and handover for households that have the needs of movement. In fact of the progress of movement, according to previous statistics, the whole area has 135 households that need to move to the resettlement area.

At the moment, the households that have to move to the resettlement area had a draw to receive land. Especially at the resettlement area at Hoa Binh commune, there were 29 households which received land and are building houses as handover.

In order to ensure the progress as well as implement the movement of people to resettlement area urgently, Hoa Binh City People’s Committee suggested the Provincial People’s Committee to consider and allocate the funding sources for projects. In parallel, the city directed inspection and supervision of contractors to strengthen the facilities and equipment as well as ensure the number of labour to construct on the schedule and on quality as plans.
