According to the statistics from the General Planning Department, from the end of June to the beginning of July, there have been about 450-500 patients coming to examine and treat in the Provincial General Hospital every day; since the morning of July 3rd, there has increased to 588 patients. In particular, diseases related to hot weather is concentrated in the Department of Internal Medicine (internal synthesis, internal cardiovascular, internal neurological) and Pediatrics. Specifically, on July 2nd, 61 children were examined in the pediatrics department; 85 people were examined in Internal Medicine; On July 3rd, 105 people were treated in the Department of Internal Medicine. At a time, the Internal Medicine had 143 patients being examined and treated as on June 28th.

 To prevent diseases for children in the hot weather, according to doctor Ninh Duy Kien, the Deputy Head of Pediatrics, Provincial General Hospital: We need to keep the children avoid going outdoors under the sun heat during peak hours, from 10am to 16pm, keep your children to drink plenty of water and eat plenty of nutrition; food, drinking water need to be hygiene ensured, without eating stale food. The environment, their bodies, noses and throats must be kept clean. Vaccination is surely adequate, on schedule as recommended to reduce the incidence of infection. Do not turn the directional fans on. Properly use air conditioners, usually in the range of 25 - 280C, avoid sudden temperature changes to the outside which may easily cause thermal dysfunction for children. When the child has abnormal signs, he or she should go to medical examination and treatment centers with medical facilities. self-treatment or severe illness should not be kept at home.
