(HBO) - Identifying the maintenance of the order security is an important task to promote local socio-economic development. Recently, the officials and local people in Hien Luong Commune (Da Bac) have brought into full play the effectiveness of the movement "All People protect the Fatherland security”.

The police of Hien Luong Commune (Da Bac) is
preparing tools to support patrol and control tasks in the area.
Over the recent years, the task of the order
security maintanance in the area has been encountered with certain
difficulties. According to statistics, the area of forestry accounts for 50%
of the total area of the commune, concentrated in the communes of Ngu, Ke,
etc. This causes potential risks and challenges to the functional forces in preventing
illegal exploiters and deforestation criminals. The area of the commune is
located along Da River reservoir so it has diversified fishery resources.
Consequently, the regular use of electric pulses to catch fish seriously
affects aquatic resources and ecological environment. Facing these
difficulties, the Commune Police, being identified as the key force in the work
of ensuring order security, has actively advised the Party Committee,
authorities to strictly implement the instructions, resolutions and documents
from the upper authorities. Monthly and quarterly plans were developed and
synchronously implemented in villages and hamlets which attracted nearly 1,000
participants. The Commune Police regularly inspects, urges and strengthens the
police force to keep records of the local situation, catching up with the
actual situation so as to have timely handling plans. Besides, they also
coordinate with forest rangers and navy police to organize patrols in the areas
where there is a risk of order security loss. The villages and hamlets in the
locality connect closely together to exchange information to jointly resolve
cases from the grassroots, as not to incurr hot risky spots.
Recognizing the role and responsibility of
the people in ensuring order security in the area, the Commune Party Committee
and the commune authorities have actively propagandized and mobilized the
people to well implement the movement "All People protect the Fatherland
security”, maintaining effectively the operation of 8 self-managed groups, 8
reconciliation teams, 8 fire prevention and forest protection groups, 8 citizen
security teams, building one agency and three schools to achieve the title of
order security, promoting the role of associations, unions, organizations to
sign a commitment "there are no children in the household breaking the
order security".
