(HBO) - Pacific Limited Company was established in April, 1993 with 100% Japanese investment. The main business of the company is producing and processing cucumbers, gingers and chili leaves for export to Japan market. In the past years, the company has always attached the importance to labor and hygiene safety in connection with production and business development.

Every year, the Company purchases an average
of 3,000 tons of fresh ginger, 5,000 tons of fresh cucumbers and 200 tons of
fresh chilli leaves. Fresh ginger material is mainly collected from Tuyen
Quang, Bac Kan; cucumbers are gathered from Ha Nam province and Ky Son, Tan Lac
districts. Currently, the company has 300 employees, mainly female workers,
many employees have been working for the company for the last 10 years.
In addition, the Company has built internal
labor regulations to ensure labor and hygiene safety, fire prevention, keeping
the campus inside and outside the company always green - clean - beautiful.
Every year, the company plans and distributes protective equipment for workers
such as: safety clothes, caps, boots, masks, rubber gloves depending on
specific work. The company also organizes periodical health examinations,
detecting occupational diseases for all employees in the company in the period
of each year. Every year, the company signs a contract with functional agencies
to check the working environment. Weekly, the company organizes to clean the
workplaces, plant green trees around the production area.
At present, the average income of workers
reaches at over 4 million VND / person / month. In 2017, the Company paid over
500 million VND to the State budget.
Recognizing the achievements, the Company has
been awarded many certificates of merit from the State government, the province
on the results in production - business and labor and hygiene safety. In 2015,
the Company was awarded the certificate of merit by the People's Committee of
Hoa Binh city for many achievements in the emulation movement for labor and
hygiene safety – Fire and explosion protection. In 2016 and 2017, the Company
was awarded the certificate of merit by the Department of Labor Safety (MOLISA)
with outstanding achievements in labor and hygiene safety.
The Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province held a conference on March 18 to review the performance of the "Safe and Happy School" Project and set out tasks for 2025. The project, funded by the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF), aims to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students.
