(HBO) - In the recent time, the provincial Women's Unions have not only ceased to promote the activeness, creativity in innovating the mode of operation, making emulation movements widespread, attracting a large number of women participating, supporting; through which turns out many typical outstanding individuals.
At present, there are 86 small and
medium-sized enterprises owned by women in the province, helping over 1,000
laborers have jobs and stable incomes; nearly 1,500 models of women doing good
business, contributing to the provincial socio-economic development objectives.

Ms. Tran Thi Khanh Van, the Director of Luong
Son Urban Environmental Sanitation Limited Company, is one of the typical
individuals in economic development, job and stable income creation for many
workers and laborers. Ms. Van said: The company has been in operation since
2009. Currently, the Company has 35 employees, the average of monthly salary is
from 4 - 6 million VND. As the characteristic of the work is quite hard and the
workers are mainly women, so the company always cares about their lives. This
caring and support helps workers have more motivation, working more efficiently
and more responsibly.
Ms. Tran Thi Huong's family, Cao Phong Town
Women's Union (Cao Phong) develops her economy and gets rich from nearly 5
hectares of planting V2 oranges, Canh oranges, yellow- hearted oranges. Her
model has created jobs for 10-15 employees, including members of Women's Union
of the district. Ms. Huong’s orange garden has been harvested for 8 years with
about 2, 5 billion VND each year. Besides planting oranges, her family also
opened a shop specializing in supplying seedlings to members who need and
supply seedlings in the area and outside the province.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Liem, the chairwoman of Doan
Ket I Village’s Women Union, Phuc Tien Commune (Ky Son) has mobilized 31
households in the area to cut trees, clear walls of the houses and contributed
over 1,000 m2 of land for rural road construction. In addition, she, together
with other women, has set up a an in-turn fund to help 353/430 households to
build hygienic water closets.
In late March, 29 labourers from Da Bac district were sent to work as seasonal farm workers in Buyeo county, Chungcheongnam province, the Republic of Korea (RoK). Upon arrival, they quickly settled into their jobs, enjoying good working conditions and benefits, with wages aligned with the terms of their signed contracts. The programme is now being expanded, with relevant departments and sectors actively seeking additional seasonal employment opportunities in various localities across the RoK.
Luong Son Industrial Park has invested in standardised wastewater and emissions treatment systems, enforced tight emission controls, reduced noise, dust, and solid waste, and expanded green spaces, contributing to protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development.
