(HBO) – In an event taking place on July 27, a house was handed over to Dinh Van Roi, a soldier wounded in the anti-US war, and his family in Doi Hamlet, Hien Luong Commune, Da Bac District of Hoa Binh province, as a gesture to pay tribute to those who rendered services to the nation.
The event was held by the Department of Politics at
the Military Region 3, the Military Commands of Hoa Binh and Da Bac and local
authority at Hien Luong Commune.

The 65-sqm one-storey house with cold rolled steel
roofing was constructed at a cost of 160 million VND, including 70 million VND
sourced from the Department of Politics at the Military Region 3, while the
remaining funded by his relatives.
The district’s Military Command also mobilized
soldiers and local residents to help dig the foundation, even the site and
transfer the construction materials for building the house, worth about 20
million VND.
On the same day, the district’s Military Command also
inaugurated and presented a house to Trieu Duyen Long, an invalid who fought in
war to protect
Vietnam’s
northern border, in Ranh Hamlet, Toan Son Commune.
The 100-sqm one-storey house with four rooms has an
investment of 380 million VND, of the amount, 70 million VND donated by the
military command./.
In late March, 29 labourers from Da Bac district were sent to work as seasonal farm workers in Buyeo county, Chungcheongnam province, the Republic of Korea (RoK). Upon arrival, they quickly settled into their jobs, enjoying good working conditions and benefits, with wages aligned with the terms of their signed contracts.
