(HBO) – The traffic safety board of Kim Boi district held a competition on road traffic safety 2018, attracting five teams from Kim Boi, Sao Bay, Bac Son, 19/5 high schools, and the centre for vocational - continuing education.

Part of a drama contest

Participants were required to pass three challenges: greetings, knowledge of traffic safety law, and drama about traffic safety. Participating teams put on stage dramas reviewing traffic safety in the district in general and each locality in particular. Though dramas featured different themes and topics, they had one common highlight: traffic safety is first.

At the end of the competition, the organising board granted the first prize to 19/5 high school, the second prize to Bac Son high school, the third prize to the centre for vocational - continuing education, and consolation prizes to Kim Boi and Sao Bay high schools.

The competition created a vibrant and widespread emulation movement throughout the district in general and in school units in particular, thereby raising students’ awareness about the urgency of ensuring road traffic safety and the sense of abiding by traffic safety law, building a cultural lifestyle for students when joining traffic. At the same time, the competition also raised responsibilities of Party committees, local authorities and mass organisations in the enforcement of traffic safety law./.
