(HBO) – Whenever the autumn is coming, children are delighted to make lanterns, excitedly looking forward to the procession of lanterns, enjoying Mid-Autumn Festival. Traditionally, in every Mid-Autumn festival, many socio-political organizations and mass organizations have joined together to care for Mid-Autumn Festival for children, especially for poor children and disadvantaged children, helping children have a full fun and useful moon festival.

The whole province has 209,383 children. In order to ensure the warm and happy moon festival, on 29th August, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs issued a document guiding the organization of Mid-Autumn Festival activities to departments, branches, unions, districts, cities. Organizing recreation and entertainment activities for children needs to renew their forms, to encourage traditional cultural and artistic activities; encouraging children to use domestically produced toys. The organization of entertainment program, Mid-Autumn Festival must be suitable for each condition of each village, hamlet, and residential area. Plans must be made to visit, give gifts to children, focusing on children with special circumstances. Gifts giving for children should be mobilized by all resources.

This year, the organization of Mid-Autumn Festival in the residential area will be maintained, this activity is always expected by children. Nguyen Mai Chi, Cao Phong town (Cao Phong) shared: Every year, my parents take me to enjoy Mid-Autumn Festival. I am very happy because the Mid-Autumn Festival is held excitingly with many folk games. We are able to see the lion dance, see the lantern procession and receive gifts.

The mobilization of organizations, units, benefactors supporting and helping to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival took place excitingly. Gifts will be given to disadvantaged children, children affected by natural disasters. The provincial Child Support Fund has a deduction of VND 70 million to donate 200 gifts to disadvantaged children. The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held to give gifts in Hoa Binh city and Cao Phong, Kim Boi, Mai Chau and Ky Son districts. Prudeltial Life Insurance Company presented 40 gifts to children affected by natural disasters in Giap Dat, Tien Phong commune (Da Bac).
