As a part of the "Volunteer Youth"
movement, the Summer Volunteer Campaign includes a program of exam- season
support and 4 small campaigns: Green Summer, Red Phoenix, Pink Holiday, Green
Summer, and many volunteer activities in the local, or often, urgent
activities, etc., the core of which is the youth force. Being closely connected
to the content of the campaign this year deployed by the provincial Youth
Union, Tan Lac district Youth Union has been concretized by each subject line,
and set the 7 specific target groups. In which, the target of mobilizing volunteers
to contribute ideas and innovations is a new bright point of this year’s
campaign. Mr. Bui Van Diep shared: Although we have not got the highlighted
ideas and creativities, we could motivate the Youth members to research, study
and investigate. We believe and expect that there will be many effective
proposals from here to improve the quality of professional work, study,
practice, volunteer ... in the future.
. In the small campaigns, the District Youth
Union Board promoted the implementation of organizing the models of
"specialized teams", "clusters of activities" to promote
the professionalism of volunteer soldiers, the content of the programs, the
campaign with focus, the directions, closely related to the actual needs
associated with the socio-economic development orientation of the locality.
With this approach, after nearly 3 months of
implementation, the Union delegations in the district has planted more than
1,400 trees of all kinds; repairing 7.5 km of rural roads; dredging 11.8 km of
interior field ditches for irrigation; donating hundreds of gifts and working
days to help policy families, children overcoming difficulties. They also
organized 28 sessions on child sexual abuse prevention; health counseling, free
medicine distribution for 160 policy beneficiary families, single and poor
families; donating 593 units of blood, contributing to addressing the need for
blood for treatment in hospitals, etc.
