(HBO) – Ky Son district of the northern mountainous province of Hoa Binh has held a conference to review the three-year implementation of the "All people unite to build cultural lifestyle” movement for the 2016-2018 period.

During 2016-2018, the district paid attention to improving quality of the "All people unite to build cultural lifestyle” movement. The district’s all-level steering committees for the campaign directed building and developing a healthy cultural environment, improving people’s material and spiritual lives, building new-style rural areas and strengthening cultural institutions. Cultural, art and sport activities were held regularly while traditional cultural values were preserved and upheld, contributing to local socio-economic development. As many as 82 percent of local households have been recognised as cultural families while 89.4 percent of villages and residential areas and 96.6 percent of units, agencies and businesses have met cultural standards.

There were 9,850 people taking regular exercises and 1,880 other taking physical activities as well as 1,700 sport families.

On the occasion, the district People’s Committee presented certificates of merit to seven individuals and six collectives in honour of their outstanding contributions to the "All people unite to build cultural lifestyle” movement for 2016-2018./.
