(HBO) – The mobile police in Hoa Binh province have been engrossing in practising tactics in the past two months, in preparation for the provincial defence drill in 2018.
As
many as 61 personnel and officers were mobilised to participate in the exercise
as planned. They acted out scenarios in which they coordinate to fight
terrorists, come to the hostage’s rescue, and clear up bombs and mines.
Besides martial arts and policing strategies, they worked out on public
mobilisation measures, which are applicable to crime prevention.
According to Colonel Nguyen Van Be, head of the mobile police bureau, the
participants strictly abided by regulations in terms of time, uniform, vehicles
and weapons. Their practising progress has been now in line with the set plan.
The drill will help them improve capacity, martial arts skills, techniques in
using various kinds of weapons and vehicles, thus standing ready for emergency
cases, contributing to building and protecting the country in the new context,
he added.
The force has set up practising programmes while studying fighting tactics and
techniques, as well as focusing on operational training in the past two
months./.
