(HBO) – As a gateway of the northern province of Hoa Binh and lying next to Chuong My, My Duc, Quoc Oai and Thach That districts in Hanoi, Luong Son district boasts favourable conditions for socio-economic development. However, some risks in order and security still linger. To solve this matter, local police have launched a number of investigation cases to crack down on crimes and contribute to the maintenance of order and security in the area.

Police in Luong Son district regularly exchange professional skills to meet their assigned tasks better.

Being aware of the order and security risks in the area, the district’s police have proactively consulted with local authorities to implement measures so as to prevent crimes and social evils, including building and maintaining the effective operation of security clusters along with holding quarterly meetings to review the situation and exchange information.

Apart from increasing mobile patrols, the district police also unveiled new tricks by criminals and encouraged locals to actively participate in maintaining order and security in the area.

Lieutenant Colonel Cao Dai Nghia, deputy head of Luong Son district’s police, said most of the criminal cases detected in 2018 were reported by locals. The prompt response by the police will help reinforce the trust of people and encourage them to share information relating to social order and security, he added, noting that more than 90 percent of cases addressed in 2018 were informed from the masses.

In addition to building strong forces and increasing responsibility, the local police have actively responded to social order and security movements in the area.

Thanks to these solutions, the prevention of crimes and social evils in the district has reaped positive outcomes.
